CUSTOM COOKIES
I require a minimum order of one dozen cookies with a base price of $65/dozen. Need fewer? Stay tuned for a popup shop announced on my Instagram and Facebook page!
All orders require at least 14 days of notice.
If there are multiple requests for the same date, I may not be able to accommodate all requests and orders will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
For large orders (4+ dozen), I ask you give me at least 4 weeks notice so I can get organized and make your cookies as great as possible since I am a one-woman show.
I will follow the client’s requests closely to create the designs desired. All cookie designs will be communicated with the client when finalizing the order and prior to payments rendered.
Once Upon a Favor cannot duplicate an exact copy of another artist’s work but will ensure the finished products work for the theme, occasion, and requests to the best of my abilities. It is best to send an invitation, décor examples, or other general ideas for inspiration.
Copyrighted images (think Disney) are protected, and I won't be able to replicate them. (who wants cookie controversy, right?) But we can discuss other ways of applying the theme to your cookies using a similar color palette though - so let's talk!
Icing colors may vary. I'll do my best to match the colors as close as I can, but colors can vary based on many reasons outside of my control. Placing an order with me means that you agree that the colors may vary from inspiration photos and invitations.
I do my absolute best to match themes, colors and requested details. As my products are handcrafted, there may be slight variations.
All cookies are made fresh to order. No preservatives are ever used! Cookies are sealed in cellophane to insure freshness.
Changes to your order - Decisions are tough! But we're here to help. Order changes can be made until 7 days out. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.
I do not accept any sexually explicit or drug-related orders.
In a hurry? While I can't accommodate all last minute orders, I will make my best effort to. Orders placed with a turnaround time of under 14 days will require a rush fee of $50.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
All orders require full payment upon placing order. The date of the event is considered “booked” upon receipt of payment and agreement of the Terms of Service.
I can offer refunds up to 24 hours AFTER the payment is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as your cutter order has likely already been placed. But the good news is, you get the cookies!
If payment is not received within 24 hours after both parties confirm, your order will be automatically cancelled.
Once Upon a Favor accepts both cash and credit at vendor events and of course, credit cards on our website. You will receive account information upon confirmation of your order.
All prices are subject to change. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients. This also means I can't honor old pricing (because the local grocery store won't honor their old flour prices - darn it).
PICK UP
All orders are pick-up only!
Delivery can be an option if you live within 5 miles of the pick-up location with an additional fee of $25.
Pickup times are the day before your event in the Mineola NY area. The exact address and directions will be sent before the pickup date via a confirmation email.
A new pickup person will be accepted only if the client who placed the order notifies Once Upon a Favor ahead of time.
No show = no cookies. These cookies are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up to the agreed pickup time forfeits your order. But take heart - we'll donate to a family in need. If you need to reschedule your pickup, please reach out to me ASAP! No refund will be given!

ALLERGY & DIETARY WARNINGS
Once Upon a Favor operates under the New York Cottage Food Laws.
All baked goods are made from scratch in my home kitchen on Long Island, NY which is not subject to public health inspection.
Our kitchen is NOT allergen friendly as we may also process common food allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs etc.
*I cannot accommodate allergy-conscious orders.
Once Upon a Favor's baked goods may contain the following ingredients: eggs, wheat, dairy, food dyes, natural dyes, flavorings.
The client is responsible for pointing out to their guests potential allergy hazards.
HEALTH & SAFETY
If you cannot pickup your order due to a illness, I can freeze your cookies for up to 2 weeks. Please let me know immediately if that is your issue. After 2 weeks, the cookies will no longer be as fresh and you will have to pick up or forfeit the order.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Once Upon a Favor reserves the right to use all photographs of the cookies for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to have your order shown online, please let me know at the time of booking.
LIABILITY
Once Upon a Favor is not responsible for any damage to the cookies or shortage of cookies caused by anyone NOT employed by Once Upon a Favor.
The client assumes liability once the order passes into the client’s possession. The client is responsible for providing a suitable environment for the cookies. A suitable environment includes an area away from heaters, a solid surface, and a suitable outdoor setting away from direct sunlight.
FULFILLMENT OF CONTRACT
Once Upon a Favor is not responsible for any delay or inability to deliver based on accidents, natural disasters, transportation issues, inclement weather, illness, death, labor troubles, delay in supplies, or any other circumstance beyond my control.
Once client picks up the order, Once Upon a Favor no longer assumes any responsibility for damage caused to it.
To avoid damage to cookies, please keep cookies in a room temperature environment and avoid extreme heat and direct sun. Instructions will be given on freezing and defrosting upon pickup.
COOKIE DECORATING CLASSES
Looking to make your private event unique and exciting? By hosting a cookie decorating class or party in your home or event space, you get hands-on cookie decorating instruction that fits your event theme.
Who doesn’t love getting out and doing something fun!? That’s what Cookie Decorating Classes are all about!
Our classes are based in the Nassau County area and cater to the beginner. Whether you just want a fun couples night, a girls-night-out or fun activity for a kids party, we got you!
All your guests will need to bring is themselves (and maybe an apron) I take care
of the rest. Your guests will get a set of pre-baked cookies as well as all the supplies they will need to decorate them.
Classes are an hour and a half, which will give us enough time to decorate the cookies and answer any questions along the way. You will leave the class with your very own box of newly decorated cookies!
NO REFUNDS! Due to the preparation and supplies that classes take, participants cannot be added or removed after a week out from your event.
No refund will be given to a guest that cancels or is a no-show.

CUSTOM SOAPS
Since all of our soap is handcrafted, we do our very best to describe and photograph its physical qualities. The soap you receive may not look exactly like the one in the picture. Please allow for slight variations as all bars are hand cut. This is part of the beauty of handmade soap.
Cold process soap needs anywhere from 2- 6 weeks of curing time. This will depend on the size of the bar. Mini's take less as full size bars need more. Please keep this in mind before placing your order.

Medical Claims: Per FDA Regulations, Once Upon A Favor can not and will not make any medical claims based on any soap ingredients. The main purpose of soap is to cleanse. We are not medical or healthcare professionals.
Product Warnings/Caution: If any products cause irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.
